Go to Lessons.
If the page is titled something other than Lessons, select the title of the page as it appears in your site Tool Menu.
Select Embed Content.
Under Simple Content Items, select Embed Content on the Page.
Select Upload new file.
- In the dialog box, select Upload new file.
- Then, select Choose Files to browse for a file on your computer.
Tip: If the image you would like to embed has already been uploaded to the Resources tool, you may instead choose the "Select existing file from Resources" link to browse for the uploaded file in Resources.
Select a file.
- Locate and select the file to upload.
- Then, select Open to return to Sakai and upload the file.
Note: The steps and image above may vary depending on your browser and operating system.
Select Save.
The title of the selected file will appear in the dialog box. Select Save to embed the image.
Image appears.
The image appears on the page. To make the image accessible for users of assistive technology, see How can I make images more accessible?
Notice the image file location in Resources.
Note that the image file is automatically uploaded to the Resources tool in a folder with the same title as the Lessons page.
Select Add new URL.
- Select Add a new URL (web link).
- Then, paste the URL or embed code of an image from internet into the text field.
- Select Save.
Tip: The image must be publicly available on the web (i.e., not behind a login) in order for it to be visible to students.
