How do I add a new poll?

Select Polls.

Select the Polls tool from the site Tool Menu.

Note: If the Polls tool is not available on your site by default, you can add it to your site under Site Info > Manage Tools.

Select the Add button or the Add a poll link to add a new poll.

Compose poll question.

How many hours a week do you spend on social media?
  1. Enter the poll question in the Question field.
  2. Add additional information in the Rich Text Editor if needed.

Specify the poll settings.

  1. Specify the opening and closing dates and times. Enter the date in the text box, or use the calendar icon to select the date and time from the date picker.
  2. Select when the Results are visible.
  3. Select Save and add options.

Add the first answer.

  1. Enter the first answer option in the Rich Text Editor.
  2. Select Save and add options.

Add the second answer.

Add option
  1. Enter the second answer option in the Rich Text Editor.
  2. Select Save and add options. Continue this process of saving and adding options until all poll options have been added.
  3. Select Save for the last poll option. This will display the Edit a poll page with the poll options listed.

Review poll question options and Save.

  1. Enter the minimum and maximum number of options respondents can select.
  2. Select when the results are visible.
  3. Select Save.

Note: Select the Add option link to add a new option. Select the Edit or Delete links next to each option to make necessary adjustments.
