How do I add or remove a tag from a Conversations post?

Tags are used to organize related topics. Instructors in the course can create tags, while any site participant can apply a tag to their new or existing topics. Entire topics, but not individual posts within topics, can be tagged.

Go to the Conversations tool.

Select Conversations from site Tool Menu

Select Conversations from the site Tool Menu.

Expand or collapse content Adding a tag to a new topic

Create new topic.

Select Create new topic

Select button Create new topic.

Author the topic.

Use the Tag topic menu.

Open the tag topic menu, choose the tag, and select Add
  1. Open the Tag topic menu.
  2. Choose a tag.
  3. Select Add.

Publish the topic.

select Publish

Select Publish.

Choose Edit.

select the topic options menu and choose Edit
  1. Select the icon with three vertical dots (Topic options menu) icon in the topic area.
  2. Choose Edit.

Use the Tag topic menu.

use the tag topic menu to choose a topic and select Add
  1. Open the Tag topic menu.
  2. Choose a tag.
  3. Select Add.

Publish the topic.

Select Publish

Select Publish.

Removing a tag.

Select a topic.

Select an existing topic.

Choose Edit.

Open the topic options menu and choose Edit
  1. Select the Topic options menu icon in the topic area.
  2. Choose Edit.

Remove tag.

select the red x next to the tag

Select the red x (remove) icon.

Publish the topic.

select Publish

Select Publish.
