Pin a topic to the Conversations area of the page so that it will display to all site participants that visit the Conversations tool. Pinning allows instructors to bring attention to important topics that matter to the whole class.
Note:
- You must possess the correct permissions to pin a topic
- Topic pinning must be toggled on within the site
- You cannot pin individual answers or comments: only the whole topic.
Go to the Conversations tool.
Select Conversations from the site Tool Menu.
Select a topic.
Select a topic to pin.
Select Pin.
Below the topic contents, select PIN.
Verify the pinned topic.
A pin icon (This topic has been pinned) displays near the title of the topic.
Unpin a topic. (Optional)
To unpin a pinned topic, begin by selecting the topic.
Below the topic contents, select UNPIN.
