How do I create a multi-part syllabus by dates?

Go to Syllabus.

Select Syllabus

Select the Syllabus tool from the site Tool Menu.

Select Add.

Select Add.

Edit syllabus item details.

  1. Enter a title for the syllabus item(s) in the Title field.
  2. Select Create syllabus items by dates.
  3. Use the date and time pickers to select the start/end dates and times.
  4. Select the Display dates on calendar checkbox. (optional)
  5. Select the of the week when each item should display.
  6. Select the Add button to create the item(s).

Note: The title entered becomes the first part of the syllabus item title with a number appended to it. A syllabus item will be created for for each day selected within the date frame selected.

In the example above, a syllabus item will be created for every Sunday between 8/9/24-12/6/24 entitled Class -1, Class - 2, etc.

Edit syllabus items.

Select Edit details

On the Manage Syllabus Items screen, use available options to rename syllabus items, move them up or down, specify start or end times, add or remove them from the calendar, publish/unpublish items, and remove items.  

Select the Edit Details link for each syllabus items to configure that specific item.

Select Update.

Select Update.

Select the Update button on the Manage Syllabus Items page to save changes.

View Syllabus items.

Select Syllabus to view syllabus items.

Select Syllabus to view the list of syllabus items. The first item will be expanded by default.
