Instructors can embed discussions conversations on a Lessons page. This can be useful if you are using Lessons as your course landing page, or if you wish to call attention to recent discussions activity.
Go to Lessons.
If you titled your page something other than Lessons, select the title of the page as it appears in your Tool Menu.
Note: The default or blank Lessons page contains text and images that explain the basic functionality of the Lessons tool.
Select Add Content.
Select Add Content from the Actions Menu.
Select Embed Discussions Conversations.
Under the Linked or Embedded Items heading, select Embed Discussions Conversations.
Specify the number of conversations to display, and then Save.
- Use the dropdown menu to specify how many Discussions conversations should appear on the page.
- Select Save.
The latest Discussions Conversations will display.
The titles of the most recent discussion posts, up to the number specified in the prior step, will display on the page. Select the title of a post to view the entire conversation.
