How do I notify site participants that content has been added to Resources?

Site owners can automatically notify participants that an item has been added to Resources via the Notifications feature. When used, site members receive an email containing details of the file or link that has been added to Resources.

Select Resources.

Select Resources.

Select the Resources tool from the site Tool Menu.

Add an item to Resources.

When adding an item, choose an email notification setting.

When adding an item, choose an email notification setting.

While adding an item:

  1. Open the Email notification for this update menu and select High - All participants or Low - Not received by those who have opted out.
  2. Select Continue.

Notes:

  • Selecting High - All participants will result in an email being sent to every site participant.
  • Selecting Low - Not received by those who have opted out will result in an email being sent to only those participants that have not opted out of "Low" level notifications in their workspace Preferences.
