How do I hide files and folders?

Hide files that are stored in the Resources tool so that they are available only to site leadership. Files contained within hidden folders will also become hidden.

Select Resources.

Select the Resources tool from the site Tool Menu.

  1. Check the box associated with a folder that you wish to hide.
  2. Select Hide.

The items are now hidden on the Resources page.

Notes:

  • Instructors see hidden Resource items as italicized with a crossed out eye icon.
  • If you hide a folder, all files within the folder are hidden as well.

Method 2: Select Actions, and then select Edit Details.

  1. Select the Actions dropdown menu associated with the file or folder to hide.
  2. Select Edit Details.

  2. Select Hide this folder but allow access to its contents or Hide this folder and its contents.
  3. Select Update.
