How do I copy a file or folder from one site to another site?

Instructors can copy a Resource file or folder from on site to another site.

Select Resources.

Select Resources.

Select the Resources tool from the site Tool Menu.

Select Copy Content from My Other Sites.

Select Copy Content from My Other Sites.

Select Copy Content from My Other Sites to select folders location in your other sites.

Select the site containing the files that you would like to copy.

Select the site containing the files that you would like to copy.

Click the folder icon (Open this folder) associated with the site from which you would like to copy files or folders.

Note: Folder icons that are transparent have no files. Folder icons with a solid fill color contain files and folders.

Select the files or folders you would like to copy.

Select the files or folders you would like to copy.

Select the checkboxes next to the files or folders you would like to copy.

Select Copy.

Select Copy.

This places the Resources page into a temporary display state to facilitat the copying of files.

Navigate to the site where you would like to place the copied files and select Paste.

While once again viewing the files and folders in the site to which you wish to copy, click the Paste option associated with a folder.

View copied files.

View copied files.

Copied items become available in the new location.
