Commons provides a social-media-like space within your site. Participants can post text, images, and links which automatically generate thumbnails. This is similar to Facebook posts, and can be used as an alternative to other communication tools such as Discussions, Chat, or Lessons.
Commons does not support grading or other advanced Discussions features, such as threaded discussions, group permissions, availability dates, etc.
To access this tool, select the Commons link in the Tool Menu of your site.
