Dark Theme (or Dark Mode) allows you to change the overall Sakai system color scheme to light text on a dark background, as opposed to the default dark text on light background. Utilizing Dark Theme offers benefits such as reducing your device's energy consumption and minimizing eye strain when working in low-light environments.
If your device's operating system is set to dark mode, the system will automatically enable Dark Theme in the application.
Enabling Dark Theme via the Account menu
Select your profile icon.
In the upper-right corner of the screen, select your profile icon.
Select the Dark Theme option.
Move the Light/Dark Theme toggle to the Dark Theme setting, represented by a moon icon.
Verify the update to Dark Theme.
Your screen will change to display light text on a dark background
Enabling Dark Theme via Preferences
Select Preferences.
In your Home site, select the Preferences tool from the Tool Menu.
Select Theme.
From the Actions Menu, select Theme.
Select Dark Theme.
- Select the Dark Theme radio button.
- Select Update Preferences.
Verify the update to Dark Theme.
Your screen will change to display light text on a dark background.
