How to use live transcripts

The Live Transcript feature displays closed captions during a real-time (synchronous) meeting.

Enabling live transcripts

Sign in at luc.zoom.us

Login to luc.zoom.us

To use live transcripts, sign into the LUC Zoom web portal at  https://luc.zoom.us/.

Select Settings.

Select Settings

Select Settings from the menu on the left.

Select In Meeting (Advanced).

Select In Meeting (Advanced)

Select In Meeting (Advanced). Or, scroll down until the option to enable Closed Captioning.

Toggle on closed captioning.

Toggle on closed captioning and then check the box to enable live transcription
  1. Toggle the slider bar to the right to enable closed captioning.
  2. Check the checkbox Enable live transcription service.

Using live transcripts in a Zoom meeting

Select Live Transcripts.

Select Live Transcript and Enable Auto-Transcription
  1. Select the Live Transcripts button on the bottom toolbar.
  2. Select Enable Auto-Transcription.

Speech will appear as text.

After enabling auto-transcription, any speech will appear as text at the bottom of the screen.

Select the carrot to see more options.

Once auto-transcription is enabled, select the ^ (caret) to see more options.

Select View Full Transcript. (Optional)

Select View full transcript

To view the full meeting transcript, select View Full Transcript.

Transcript displays.

The full transcript fisplays

The full meeting transcript will display.
