If you are using the default share settings in VoiceThread, students will need to authenticate their account for your course before accessing a recording in the Lessons tool. Please see How do I authenticate my VoiceThread account for a Sakai site? for instructions.
Locate the VoiceThread to link and select Share.
From VoiceThread Home, select the Share icon on the VoiceThread thumbnail .
Copy the embed code.
From the Share dialog:
- Select the Copy Link button.
- (Optional). Use the dropdown arrow to modify sharing permissions for the link.
Go to Resources.
Select Resources from the Tool Menu.
Select Actions, then Add Web Links.
From the Actions dropdown menu, select Add Web Links (URLs). This directs you to the Add Web Links page.
Enter the web address URL and the website name.
On the Add Web Links (URLs) page:
- Enter the website name in the Website Name field. This will appear as the title of the link.
- Paste the link in the Web Address (URL) field.
- Select Add Web Links Now.
