How do I authenticate my VoiceThread account with a Sakai site?

When the VoiceThread tool is added to a Sakai site, a folder for that site is created in VoiceThread. If the site is a course site, students enrolled in the site are able to view VoiceThreads in the course folder by default. If the site is a project site, users with the access role are able to view VoiceThreads in the site folder by default. 

If these VoiceThread are added to the Lessons tool, students and users with the access role will not be able to access these VoiceThread until they authenticate their account. 

If a user attempts to access a session before authenticating, they will receive a message like the examples below. The user should not select Sign In. The user should follow the directions below to authenticate their account.

Authenticate your account.

Select VoiceThread.

To authenticate your account, first login to Sakai and open your Sakai site, then select the VoiceThread tool from the Tool Menu. You have now authenticated your account and you will be able to access VoiceThreads in the Lessons tool.
