How do I share a Zoom cloud recording?

Updated on

Within a meeting room, the host has the option to record locally to a computer or to the cloud. If cloud recording is selected, the recordings will be saved to the host's Zoom account.

Expand or collapse content Accessing cloud recordings within Brightspace or Sakai.

Note: All cloud recordings for meetings created through the Brightspace or Sakai Zoom Pro tool will automatically be available to all course participants in the Cloud Recordings section of that course's Zoom Pro tool.

Select Cloud Recordings.

Select the Cloud Recordings tab.

Select a meeting.

Select the meeting Topic to view the recording files.

Access recordings and analytics.

Depending on your role in the Brightspace or Sakai site, you will find options to play, download, or share any recording files associated with the meeting. Users with the learner/student role may only play recordings, whereas meeting hosts may download or share recording files. Hosts may also select Recording Analytics to basic view analytics for the recordings.

(Optional) Share a recording.

Selecting Share for any recording file will open a pop-up box. Select Copy to copy the meeting details to your clipboard. You may then paste the meeting details into an email, for example.

Expand or collapse content Forward the email notification.

Note: After a meeting has ended, Zoom will process the recordings. Once the files are processed, an email notification is sent to your Loyola Outlook account. Once you have received the email notification from Zoom, you may forward that email to students or other viewers.

Select Forward.

Select the Forward (right-facing arrow) icon within the email header.
