In order to create a recording in Panopto, you will need to download and install the Panopto Recorder. All Loyola users (faculty, staff, and students) have the ability to download and install the Panopto Recorder.
There are two versions of the Panopto Recorder: the Panopto Windows Recorder and the Panopto Mac Recorder.
Navigate to the Panopto website.
Open your preferred browser and navigate to luc.hosted.panopto.com. You can also access the Panopto website through Sakai following the steps listed below:
- Log in to Sakai and open a site that has the Panopto tool. (View "How do I add the Panopto tool to my course?".)
- Select the Panopto tool from the Tool Menu.
- The Panopto site will open in a new tab.
Download the installer.
Select Download Panopto below your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
