Panopto content can be accessed in a variety of ways in Sakai: content can be linked via the Panopto tool in the Tool Menu, embedded or linked directly inLessons pages, or through the Resources tool.
Access Panopto sessions through the Panopto tool.
Select Panopto from the course Tool Menu. By default, Panopto opens in a new browser window and direct to the course site folder with content.
If Panopto does not automatically open in a new browser window or tab, ensure you enable pop-up windows in your browser settings.
Modify browser preferences or settings.
In the above example, the Panopto tool has been selected to launch the tool but the browser (Firefox) blocked the window from opening. In Firefox, select Preferences to allow pop-ups for Sakai and Panopto.
Enable pop-up windows.
In your browser prompt, select the option Allow pop-ups and third-party redirects for sakai.luc.edu. The above example shows Firefox and the same settings modification can be achieved in your browser settings.
