How do I setup WebDAV for Cyberduck on a Mac?

You can upload and/or download resources using the WebDAV protocol. WebDAV allows you to transfer files and folders from your local computer to and from your sites' Resources. Note: There must be at least one object (file or folder) in the selected Resources tool before being the setup procedure. This procedure needs to be done once before you can use WebDAV to transfer files to and from that tool.

Download and install the Cyberduck WebDAV client.

Download the Cyberduck WebDAV client and install it on your computer.

Open Cyberduck.

From your download location, select to open Cyberduck on your computer.

Select Open Connection.

Select the Open Connection button.

Enter WebDAV URL and login information

Enter Server URL.

For Server, enter the WebDAV URL from your sites's Resources tool. After you enter the URL, sakai.luc.edu will display in the box, and the full URL underneath it.  

Locate WebDAV URL.

The WebDAV URL is located within the Resource tool, by selecting Transfer Files and located underneath Step 1.

Login.

  1. Enter your Loyola UVID and password.
  2. Select Add to Keychain to store your login information.
  3. Select Connect.

Drag and drop files and/or folders.

Drag and drop files and/or folder to and from your computer and the site's Resource tool.
