How do I add users or change participant roles within a course site?

Sakai course site enrollment mirrors official course registration and instructor assignments from LOCUS. Any manual Sakai enrollment outside of LOCUS data must be submitted by an instructor of record.

To request enrollment for users that are not registered students or assigned instructors, follow the steps below.

Student and instructor roles cannot be changed with a Sakai enrollment request form because such are official records and tied to monetary assets.

Quick link to the Sakai enrollment request form.

Go to the ITS Service Portal.  

To access the ITS Service Portal, navigate to luc.edu/its and select the button Make a Request. Alternatively, navigate to services.luc.edu.  

Select Teaching and Learning.

From the Request Service areas, select Teaching and Learning.

From the list of Services, select Sakai.

From the Services list, scroll and select Sakai.

Select Sakai enrollment.

From the Sakai page, select the button Sakai enrollment.

Complete the Sakai enrollment form fields and submit for fulfillment.
