Note: Before adding a Top Hat link to a Lessons page, you will need to develop your course content in Top Hat (see Quick Start Guide), connect the course to Sakai (see add the Top Hat tool to your course), and assign content in your Top Hat course (see Assigning content).
Add Top Hat as a Learning App link in Lessons.
- Go to the Lessons tool (or Lessons page) that will feature the Top Hat link.
- Select Add Content.
From the Add Content menu, select Add Learning App in the section Simple Content Items.
Select the Top Hat link from the list.
A Configure External Tool window will appear. In this window, select Launch External Tool Configuration.
Select Top Hat assignment to link.
Choose the assigned item to link in your Sakai course and select Continue.
Note: Before you select an item to link, make sure you assign that item and give it due dates in Top Hat. For more info on assigning content in your Top Hat course, see Assigning content.
Confirm selection.
Confirm your selection and check the box to Sync grades of selected content to send this item to the Sakai Gradebook. When ready, select Confirm.
The link will appear in the Lessons page with the title of the item as listed in Top Hat.
