What is the Evaluation System tool?

Updated on

The Evaluation System tool allows instructors to create anonymous surveys. It provides a means of surveying site participants for the purposes of course experience feedback or delivering research and data collection surveys.

A wide range of question types are available for flexible design and structure, while detailed settings control what types of participants are being evaluated, how participants access the evaluation, and who may view the results. If an evaluation is delivered to named participants, the system can send out regular reminders to  recipients who have yet to complete the evaluation (frequency of reminders is configured by the evaluation author). Although the system can identify those participants who have not yet responded, it is not possible to identify individual responses – this assurance of anonymity encourages more candid responses than might otherwise be offered. Several reporting options are available to help instructors collate and analyze participants’ responses. Once an evaluation is closed, the results can be viewed online or exported in spreadsheet or PDF format.
