How do I require completion of a Lessons page?

The completion of one Lessons page or subpage before allowing students to move on to subsequent Lessons pages or subpages in the Lessons hierarchy can be set as a requirement. That is, instructors can require that all of the required items on one page be completed before students have access to subsequent Lessons pages or subpages.

Select Lessons.

In the target Sakai site, select Lessons from the Tool Menu.

Select Settings.

Select Settings from the Actions Menu.

Require Lessons page and Save.

  1. Check the checkbox "Require This Page."
  2. Then, select Save.

To require a top-level Lessons page before accessing subsequent pages:

Select Settings.

From the Lessons page that occurs after the required page, select Settings from the Actions Menu.

Restrict page access.

  1. Check the checkbox "Require This Page."
  2. Then, select Save.
