How do I save posts to draft?

Updated on

If you are working on an answer or on a new conversation topic but are not yet ready to publish it, you can save the post as a draft to come back and edit later.

Save post as draft.

Select the Save as Draft button in either the Create New Topic or the Answer composition screen.

View draft topics.

You will see unpublished drafts of new topics in the left column under the header Draft.

View draft responses.

Draft responses are indicated by the word draft next to the author’s name and are only visible to the author until published.

Note: Draft responses are contained within their topics: there is no way to view all drafts in Conversations on one list.

Publish a draft.

Edit your post and select Publish to remove the draft status and make your post visible to others viewing the tool.
