There are two locations in Site Info where tools can be removed from your site: Manage Tools and Tool Order.
Select Site Info.
In the target Sakai site, select Site Info from the site Tool Menu.
Remove a tool using Manage Tools.
Select Manage Tools.
Select Manage Tools from the Actions Menu.
Uncheck the box next to the tool(s) to be removed.
To remove a tool, uncheck the checkbox to the left of its name.
OR, select the X.
Alternatively, use the Selected tools list to remove tools. Select the X icon (Remove) to the right of a tool to remove it.
Select Continue.
Once the desired tools have been removed, scroll down and select the Continue button.
Confirm tool selection.
Tools to be removed will be listed at the top of the page.
Select Finish.
Select Finish to confirm removal of the tool(s).
Remove a tool using Tool Order.
Select Tool Order.
Select Tool Order from the Actions Menu.
Select to delete the tool.
- Select the cog icon for the corresponding tool.
- From the dropdown menu, choose Delete this Tool.
Confirm removing the tool.
In the warning confirmation window, select OK to remove the tool.
Select Save.
Select Save to apply changes.
