How do I navigate the Resources tool?

There are a number of controls and breadcrumbs that determine the display of the Resources tool, making it easier to maneuver about within the tool.

Select Resources.

Select Resources

In the target Sakai site, select the Resources tool from the Tool Menu.

Folder view.

Selecting the name of any subfolder will isolate the display to just the contents of that subfolder.

Tool-level breadcrumb trail.

When a subfolder is isolated, a breadcrumb trail of links allows users to navigate the folders. Selecting the root folder (as shown in the image above) will return the Resources display to the root level with all the subfolders closed.

Open/Close.

Subfolders containing content will display as a closed folder icon with a white plus sign. Selecting a closed subfolder will open it.

Expand All/Collapse All.

The expand/collapse toggle will show or hide folder contents

Selecting Expand All will open up and display the contents of all folders and subfolders. Selecting Collapse All will close all folders and subfolders.

Expand All/Collapse All is a toggle button. Selecting it once will expand the display; selecting it again will collapse the display.

search for resources by title
  1. Selecting All Site Files link will display a search field.
  2. Enter keywords to locate a specific file or files.
