Select Site Info.
In the target Sakai site, select Site Info from the Tool Menu.
Select Manage Tools.
Select Manage Tools from the Actions Menu.
Uncheck the checkbox next to the News tool.
Uncheck the checkbox next to the News tool that should be removed from the site.
Select Continue.
Scroll to the end of the list of tools and select Continue.
Select Finish.
Select Finish to confirm deletion of the News tool.
