How do I add a website link to a Lessons page?

Select Lessons.

Select the Lessons tool

Select the Lessons tool in the site Tool Menu to display the page.

Note: The default or blank Lessons page contains text and images that explain the basic functionality of the Lessons tool.

Select Add Content

Select Add Content from the Actions Menu.

Select Add Content Links

Select Add Content Links from the dialog box.

Select Add new URL.

Select Add new url, enter the url and a custom name, and select Save
  1. Select Add new URL (web link).
  2. Enter the full URL, including https://.
  3. Enter a custom name to display instead of the URL. (Optional)
  4. Select Save.
Link displays on the page

The web link displays on the Lessons page.

Select Edit. (Optional)

Select the Edit icon

Select the Edit icon (i.e., the pencil icon) that appears when you hover your cursor over the link.

Add a description, then select Update Item.

  1. Enter a description of the website in the Item Description field.
  2. Then, select Update Item.
