How do I set all ungraded items to zero in Gradebook?

Updated on

Gradebook does not include ungraded items in the course grade calculation. This could result in a higher course grade average for a student that has incomplete items. To include a Gradebook item in the course grade calculation, a grade of zero or higher must be entered.

To enter zeroes for all Gradebook items that have not been graded, set all ungraded items to zero.

Select Gradebook.

Select Gradebook from your site's tool menu

In the target Sakai site, select Gradebook from the Tool Menu.

Select the dropdown arrow in the Course Grade column.

Select the down arrow and choose Set Zero Score for Empty Cells
  1. Select the dropdown arrow in Course Grade column.
  2. Select Set Zero Score for Empty Cells.

Select Update.

Select Update

A prompt to confirm the set zero score for empty cells will appear. To assign zeroes for all incomplete items, select the Update button.
