Select Lessons.

Select the Lessons tool in the site's Tool Menu.
Note: The default or blank Lessons page contains text and images that explain the basic functionality of the Lessons tool.
Select Add Content.

Select Add Content from the Actions Menu.
Select Add Content Links.

Select Add Content Links from the dialog box.
Select Choose Files.

Select Choose Files to browse your computer for locally-saved files.
Locate the file and select Open.

- Locate the file and select it.
- Then, select Open.
Select Save.

Select Save.
Linked file displays on page.

This returns the display to the Lessons page with a link to the uploaded file.
Notice item location in Resources.

Notice that the uploaded file has been placed in the Lessons page folder in Resources.
Select Add Content.

Select Add Content from the Actions Menu.
Select existing file.

- Select the Select existing file from Resources link.
- Then, choose Select Resource(s).
Locate the file, and then click Select.

Locate the file in Resources, then click the Select link (to the right of the file) to choose that file.
Select Continue.

The file you have selected will appear in the list of "Items to attach." Select Continue.
Linked file displays on page.

The file linked from Resources will display on the Lessons page.
To add a description, select Edit. (Optional)

Select the Edit icon (i.e., the pencil icon) that appears when you hover your cursor over the linked file.
Add a description, and then click Update Item.

- Enter a description in the Item Description field.
- Then, select Update Item.
Updated item displays.

The file displays with the updated item description below.
