Select Assignments from the site's Tool Menu.
Select Grade beneath the title of the peer review assignment to grade.
View overall peer assessment scores.
The scores provided by peer reviewers will be shown on this page. If more than one review was assigned for each student, the reviewer grade will be an average of all the reviewer scores submitted.
By default, the grade for the assignment is set to the reviewer grade. This grade can be overriden by the instructor.
Select the reviewer's name.
Select a reviewer's name in the "Reviewed By" column to see the peer feedback that student provided.
Note: A green checkmark to the right of a student's name indicates that this student completed the assigned peer review. In the image above, Student Kinne completed her review of Oliver Student's submission, but Oliver Student did not complete his review of Student Kinne's submission.
Individual reviewer feedback will display.
This is the feedback as entered by the reviewer. Students will be able to see this peer feedback once the grade has been released for the assignment.
Select remove review. (Optional)
If a reviewer has provided incorrect or inappropriate feedback, select Remove Review to delete the peer feedback and score.
Select release grades.
If you want to make the peer review scores the official grade, you may simply select Release Grades on the assignment's submissions page, and the reviewer scores will be sent to the gradebook.
Or, select a student to enter a score adjustment or instructor comments.
Select a student's name to review the student's submission and enter and score adjustment and/or instructor comments.
Adjust score or enter comments.
On the re-grading screen, there are options to:
- Enter a score adjustment in the Grade field.
- Add a Feedback Comment using the Rich Text Editor.
- Attach a file with additional feedback.
- Make private notes regarding this submission.
- Save (and do not release to the student), or Save and Release to Student to send the score to the gradebook.
